I have loved staying home with Caleb over these past two years. It was pretty rough at first, having to move to the other side of the world with a baby who just wanted to stay in my arms all the time. Caleb just knows what he wants and he won't stop fighting until he gets it; he's such a strong character.
Right now, Caleb...
... loves being in the water. He has no fear of jumping in, getting his face wet or even staying underwater for short bursts of time. His current favourite is 'diving' into the water as he sees Nathan doing it at his swimming lessons.
... spending time with Nathan and copying everything he's doing. I'm so blessed to have two boys who love each other so much and love spending time together. They do fight ever so often, usually over who gets to hold the iPad, but they also take care of each other,
... always grabs an extra snack for whoever might be around. Caleb always grabs just one snack for himself, even if he really loves it, he'll just grab one at a time and keep coming back. Nathan was like that as well until recently. Caleb has just started taking an interest in grabbing one extra snack for a friend and every time he grabs a new one, he'll automatically assume his friend wants a new one, too.
... always says thank you to whoever gives him something.
... loves giving thumbs up as his sign of approval and saying 'goot' (good)
Caleb, you've grown into such a handsome little boy. You fill our lives with so much joy and you keep us on our toes. We love you so very much, even when you're being mischievous and we can't wait to keep watching you grow.
